WORLD LEADERS TO DISCUSS IRELAND'S FUTURE AND MOMENTUM
TOWARD PEACE
Irish American Unity Conference Hosts Roundtable Discussion
at Georgetown
Washington DC, October 31, 2005 - A distinguished panel of
political leaders, intellectuals and media from around the
world will gather at Georgetown University Law Center on
Friday, November 18, 2005 to discuss the future of Ireland.
The discussion will focus on the aspects of the Good Friday
Agreement and advancing the peace process.
Bruce Morrison, former United States Congressman and
advisor to the Clinton administration regarding Irish peace
process initiatives will moderate the panel discussion.
Panelists will include:
- Andrew Sens, Independent International Commission on
Decommissioning responsible for overseeing the disposal of
paramilitary arms
- Ned Nolan, Deputy Director for the European Bureau of the
US State Department
- Andrew Pike, Consul to Northern Ireland of the British
Embassy
- Orla O'Hanrahan, Political Counselor of the Embassy of
Ireland
- Stephen Farry, General Secretary, Alliance Party
- Alex Maskey, Former Lord Mayor of Belfast and Sinn Fein
Counselor
- Anne Porter, Director of the Ulster Unionist Party, North
American Bureau
- Dr. Robert C Linnon, National President, Irish American
Unity Conference
- Sean T. Kean, U.S. Republican Party Assemblyman in New
Jersey General Assembly
- Paul O'Connor, Patrick Finucane Centre in Derry
- Robin Livingston, a Director of Daily Ireland and
Andersonstown News Group
- Dominic Martin, Press and Public Affairs for British
Embassy
Representatives from major Irish American organizations and
the Northern Ireland Bureau will also be in attendance.

Georgetown University's Law Center, 120 F Street NW - 12th
Floor, Washington, DC on Friday, November 18, 20005 between
9 a.m. - Noon. The Irish American Unity Conference is
hosting the event.
