Emerald Society Raises Money for NO

A fund has been established by the National Conference of
Law Enforcement Emerald Societies, Inc. (NCLEES) in
conjunction with the New York Police Department Emerald
Society for our Brother and Sister Emerald Society members
devastated by Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath.
Please Forward This To Everyone You Know…If You Get This
More Than Once, Good. The Need For Funds Is Not Going Away
Any Time Soon. Please Give Generously.

As you know, Hurricane Katrina devastated much of the city
of New Orleans. In doing so, many of our Brother and Sister
Emerald Society members have lost EVERYTHING. As Police
Officers of the Metropolitan New Orleans Police Department,
they could not flee as the storm approached. They could not
run as the floodwaters rose. They have bravely held their
ground, attempting to save lives and protect property from
the ruthless looters and scavengers who swooped in to prey
on an already crippled community. The National Conference
of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies in cooperation with
the New York Police Department Emerald Society has set up a
fund to raise money to aid those who have gallantly
withstood the worst possible adversity.
What can you do? Donate as much or as little money as you
can. Make checks payable to: "NYPD Emerald Society/NCLEES
Disaster Relief Fund"
ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
100 % of money collected through this fund will go directly
to Emerald Society members in need.
